Hostel Kangaroo-Stop - Dresden

We had an amazing stay at Kangaroo, Stop! the location couldn't have been better , just one block away from Dresden, Neustadt Bahnhof and a short 20, minute walk to the historical center. the staff, especially Doris, were incredibly friendly and made our check, in process seamless. the hostel was cozy and well, organized, with separate bathrooms for ladies and men, providing extra privacy. We loved the abundance of common areas, including a lounge/kitchen in the main building and an additional lounge and two kitchens in our dorm building. Plus, being only a few minutes away from the train/bus station made exploring the city a breeze. Kangaroo, Stop is the best hostel we've stayed at in a long time!

Awesome Vibe and Great Location

The atmosphere at the hostel was amazing, with a cool and vibrant vibe that made it easy to meet friendly people. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the city center and conveniently close to the train and bus stations. there were plenty of common areas, including a lounge and multiple well-equipped kitchens, which made it easy to socialize and cook meals.

That the rooms could get quite hot and stuffy, especially during the summer. Even with just a few people in the room, it was difficult to keep the temperature comfortable.

Conveniently located near public transportation and amenities, with well-equipped kitchen and comfortable common room. Friendly and helpful staff, offering luggage storage and assistance with check-in/out. Set in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Ideal for backpackers seeking a laid-back atmosphere.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. the hostel had plenty of bathrooms and facilities, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. the location was fantastic, being super close to the station and within a short walk to all the main attractions. We also loved the cute Aussie vibe throughout the hostel. we would definitely stay here again.

The facilities are excellent, with a lovely outdoor area and spacious dorm rooms. the staff are super friendly and accommodating. the kitchen is well-equipped and the atmosphere is very homely. Great location near the train station and a large supermarket. Highly recommended for travelers to the area.

No soap in toilets

The staff were helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The hostel had a lot of common areas, including a lounge and kitchen in the main building, as well as another lounge and two kitchens in the dorm building. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from Dresden-Neustadt train/bus station and a short distance from both Neustadt center and Old Town. I loved how convenient it was to explore the city from there. The rooms werevery comfy and tidy, with plenty of power outlets for each bed. The bathrooms and showers were also well-maintained and clean. I highly recommend Kangaroo-Stop for its friendly staff, great facilities, and excellent location.

We recently stayed at Kangaroo, Stop and had a fantastic experience. the location is unbeatable, with both Old Town and New Town within walking distance. the hostel itself is housed in a beautiful historical building and is well, maintained and clean. the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the beds were comfortable, the temperatures in the rooms were perfect, and the Wi, Fi worked fast. We also appreciated the well, equipped kitchen and the availability of necessary appliances. Kangaroo, Stop provided great value for money and a homely vibe. Cons: No cons. 🌟.

Easy check-in and ID received at check-out. Multiple kitchens, toilets, and showers in two buildings. 10-minute walk to artistic passage, 20 minutes to popular sights. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious rooms with nice views. Convenient location near train station and restaurants. Well-equipped communal kitchen and spotless bathrooms. Friendly atmosphere with hammocks in lounge area. Good dining options nearby. Recommended for travelers.

The location of the hotel is superb, being close to the train station and having easy access to the airport. the friendly and helpful staff provides excellent recommendations for cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. the communal kitchen is well-equipped and the bathrooms are spotlessly clean.

The price for a night's stay is quite steep considering the outdated conditions of the building and the lack of privacy in the showers.

Best aspects of my xmas stay were the convenient location and the comfortable common room. the hostel was located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the city center and the nightlife area. This made it easy for me to explore the city and enjoy the festive atmosphere. the tram stop nearby was also a plus, as it allowed me to easily access other parts of the city. the common room was cozy and had comfortable sofas, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The worst aspect of my stay was the lack of food options. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available, which was a disappointment.
